Our Culture.
The core values that define the Sandbox Réseau experience.
Signal Over Noise
Focus on the work, not the hype. We celebrate builders who have something to show, not just something to say.
Progress Over Polish
An unfinished prototype that works is better than a polished slide deck that doesn't. Build fast, and share early.
Async First
Respect everyone's deep work time. Use the public channels, state your full context, and allow for thoughtful responses.
Learn in Public
Document your process. Write the tutorial you wish existed. Your failures are someone else's roadmap.
The Rules of Contact.
Protocol for High-Signal Interactions
- No "Hello" Messages. Don't send "Hello" and wait for a response. State your full question or context immediately. This allows for faster async resolution.
- No Unsolicited DMs. Ask permission in a public channel first. Cold DMs for sales, pitches, or spam are strictly prohibited and will result in a ban.
- Contextual Sharing. Share your work, but lead with the story: what you built, why, and what you learned. Links with zero context will be deleted.
- Give More, Take Less. Reputation is built through contribution. Answer questions, review PRs, or share resources before asking for favors.
- Critique the Work, Respect the Maker. Be direct and honest about technical trade-offs, but never dismissive of the individual. Maintain a professional, supportive environment.
